Mr Shaw is available to consult on general gynaecological conditions. In particular menopause, pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids and fertility often require more time than NHS appointments allow. Mr Shaw can assess you clinically and give full detailed explanation of your condition. Whatever the condition, a sympathetic approach is taken with explanation of the investigation, findings and treatment choices.  Some conditions are covered in the other pages of this website. Working with local General Practitioners, Mr Shaw can help  answer patients' questions. Where fertility is the issue, a basic diagnosis is available within 4 weeks (the biological restraint of a woman's cycle!). Endoscopic surgery allows pelvic reconstruction, where feasible, in tubal disease. When IVF or associated Assisted Conception techniques are required they can be provided through the Satellite IVF service.

London Practice

Gynaecological Consultation is available in North and South London, where time can be given to provide clear explanation of your health problems.   IVF and Assisted Conception is provided with the scientific backup of The Bridge Centre.

Practice in Kent

Having been Consultant, Clinical and Medical Director of an NHS trust in Kent, Mr Shaw is keen to continue to provide for the people of the county. As such, the clinics can provide the same patient-oriented care that has been the feature of Mr Shaw's practice.

 INVICTA FERTILITY

This provides the scientific excellence of London's Bridge Centre with Kent availability.  Genetic screening on embryos before placement, donor sperms available, donor eggs available. Egg freezing can be provided too. Although the consultations are on specific days, the IVF service is seven days a week; each patient's care can be individualised to the needs of their own response to medication.  There are no age limits so do call for a consultation.

If Surgery is required:

Surgery

Much of Mr Shaw's practice does not require surgery, but when that is necessary, Mr Shaw has access to a number of hospitals' operating theatres and the most up to date equipment, including Laser surgery. Further details can be obtained through the surgical icon above.
